Cara Mudah Membuat Penomoran Halaman Yang Berbeda Pada Ms. Word
Apakah saat ini kalian sedang dipusingkan dengan penomoran halaman? Ya, masalah ini mungkin juga dialami oleh banyak orang. Biasanya hal ini akan kita sadari ketika kita sedang mengerjakan pekerjaan yang menuntut untuk memberikan penomoran halaman yang berbeda. Contohnya saja saat kita membuat proposal, skripsi, karya tulis, dan sebagainya. Pembuatan nomor halaman yang berbeda-beda ini sebenarnya agak susah-susah gampang. Kali ini saya akan menjelaskan cara penomoran halaman yang berbeda dengan memanfaatkan fasilitas Page Breaks.

Pertama, buka dokumen word
Pertama-tama yang harus kita lakukan adalah membuka microsoft word. Ada dua tipe pengerjaan, kita bisa menyelesaikan dulu tulisan kita lalu melakukan setting page. Atau kita bisa langsung menyelesaikan setting page bersamaan dengan pengetikan tulisan. Kalau saya pribadi lebih senang menyelesaikan tulisan dulu. Hal ini karena setting page bisa kita lakukan dengan mudah di akhir. Jadi fokus dulu agar apa yang kita kerjakan selesai.
Kedua, identifikasi penomoran yang akan dilakukan
Okay, misalkan tulisan kita sudah selesai. Kita harus mengidentifikasi dulu bagaimana penomoran berbeda itu. Hal yang sering kita temui adalah penomoran berbeda dengan menggunakan nomor biasa seperti 1, 2, 3, atau nomor lain misal dengan i, ii, iii yang biasanya kita temui. Atau ada juga yang menggunakan nomor A, B, C, dan seterusnya. Beberapa format baku pada penulisan karya ilmiah maupun proposal menggnakan jenis angka romawi i, ii, iii, dan seterusnya untuk menampilan page cover, daftar isi, kata pengantar, dan sebagainya. Untuk isi dari tulisannya misal bab I, II, III menggunakan page dengan format angka biasa seperti 1, 2, 3, dan seterusnya. Yang membedakan hanya tata letaknya.
Ketiga, lakukan penomoran keseluruhan
Untuk membuat penomoran halaman yang berbeda, terlebih dahulu lakukan penomoran halaman secara keseluruhan. Klik insert lalu page number, contoh saja pilih top of page. Setelah itu syarat pertama yang harus kita lakukan sebelum menggunakan fasilitas page breaks adalah dengan menaruh krusor pengetikan. Taruh krusor pengetikan pada awal halaman. Misal halaman satu, ya silakan taruh krusor pada halaman satu paling atas dan awal kalimat. Lalu klik page layout, pilih tab breaks. Pilih beberapa pilihan pada Section Breaks, klik next page.
Keempat, gunakan fasilitas page breaks
Fungsi dari next page adalah untuk membuat halaman berikutnya menjadi halaman baru menurut sectionnya. Jadi ketika kita memilih untuk mengotak-atik page number tidak akan menjadi masalah. Dan tentu saja menjadi lebih mudah. Setelah itu letakkan dan sorot krusor pada page number yang ingin kita ubah. Kuncinya adalah ubahlah sesuai dengan apa yang kita mau baik letak maupun format numbernya. Tetapi perlu diperhatikan untuk mematikan link to previousnya. Hal ini agar nomor halaman yang kita pilih tidak akan berantakan.
Kelima, lakukan penyesuaian nomor
Kita tinggal memainkan dengan cara menghapus dan menyesuaikan nomor halaman saja. untuk lebih lengkapnya silakan lihat video di bawah ini.
Kita bisa mengganti format dan urutan nomor halaman dengan melakukan klik kanan pada nomor tersebut. Lalu pilih format page number. Kalau klik kanan kalian belum keluar salah satu perintah page number berarti kliknya belum tepat, ulangi terus. Kalau sudah muncul kotak dialog tinggal kita sesuaikan saja.
Ringkasan
Inti dari penomoran halaman ini adalah menggunakan fasilitas next page pada page breaks untuk menghilangkan format section antar halaman. Kemudian menggunakan perintah page number untuk menyesuaikan jenis nomor. Lalu memanfaatkan perintah hapus link to previous untuk membuat nomor selanjutnya berbeda dengan nomor sebelumnya. Juga jangan lupa menghapus format nomor yang tidak kita pakai. Cara ini mungkin mudah tetapi masih banyak orang yang menganggap cara ini masih begitu rumit dan memilih menggunakan penomoran manual. Intinya cara ini hanya untuk mempermudah teman-teman sekalian sekaligus lebih cepat dalam melakukan setting halaman yang berbeda.
